Notification problem

Posts: 102 Join Date: Dec 2013	I have been watching http://www.cam4.com/juniorjock since 7:25, but I did not get IM notification that he was online and the same thing happen on January 4th when Free_baller was online at 4:35am and I watched him for hour an 45 minutes without notification he was online. As I was watching http://www.cam4.com/juniorjock I got IM notification that hairy_wolf was online. What is going on? It seems so strange that with two of my favorites I don't receive notification yet I get notifications of other favorites. I checked my email account and I did not receive notification on either free_baller and Juniorjock something screwy is going on!

I am having the same issues since saturday Jan 4th

Posts: 1 Join Date: Mar 2014	I am having similar issues went to my followed page and noticed that mattxc2010 had been broadcasting for 81 minutes by the time I went into room, shown had been over for like an hour same thing with barker333...no notification... =(

Free_baller was on again early this morning and I did not get notification nor email that he was on and it still says his last broadcast was on Jan. 3 in my cams.

I'm sad as well my broadcaster is my very favorite and I hate too miss his broadcast. it happen again today and this time I did not get too see him was to late when I clicked on favorites in broadcaster's room I was in too late he finished when I clicked on his link.

Posts: 26 Join Date: Sep 2014	Am i right in thinking Cam4 is the only site effected? If so it might be a fault at their end. I've noticed that in my active user panel its showing my favorite performers broadcasting even though they aren't. So their 'live' data seems to have an error.

I hope problem gets solved soon I watched seven of my favorites today, but notification by IM or email were nonexistent. I checked my cams the seven broadcasters still shows there previous broadcast dates.

For awhile there IM camnotifier was going offline and online with great frequency, but now if seems to be permanently offline. Is there something I can do to get IM notifier back online? I tried sending an email test and this is what it said "Error sending test email. Connection could not be established with host email-smtp.us-east-1.amazonaws.com [php_network_getaddresses: getaddrinfo failed: Temporary failure in name resolution #0]" I do not understand what this means. Why would it have anything to do with Amazon? Camnotifier is largely dependent on external services: there are quite a large number of jobs that run in the background for this service to function correctly. Every time an IM bot is disconnected the system tries to reconnect all of them. This is why you see the bot logging off and then logging on again.

I have the same problem sometimes I receive notification and other times I don't. My cam notification on IM goes offline for several hours or days, but they tell me it should come back online within 5 to 20 minutes. I send camnotifier messages that camnotifier is offline, but they do not receive them since I do not get message response until camnotifier resumes online connection.
