Yes, that's true, we should address this in the near future. Thank you.

Idea

I have an idea how you could do it

mycamgirl.net/myfreecams/model/old_modelname

you could add the old model name to that link. The site redirects you automatically, and at the end of link there is the new modelname

mycamgirl.net/myfreecams/model/new_modelname

You could then cut out the new modelname and then use it, to create the link for webcam

The old/new name problem is a little more complex. Let me show you:

a) WHO is making the deciscion (for camnotifier) which name is old which is new?

b) old and new name might exist in parallel (for some time). Cause the model creates a new account. the model don't know how to delete the old acount or the site does not even offer such an option (which will lead to increasting number of their _registered_ models (an advertising effect))

c) sooner or later you will have a modelname_old1, modelname_old2, modelname_old3, ... modelname_oldN and we have kind of model name history which is not easy to maintain.

YES. There are also sites where one can change the user name. But it's more the rare case IMHO. If we start tracking the model's name it's getting complex very fast.

an example of one 'history'

now: is www.webcamsiteA.com/modelname02 deleted? Does it exist in parallel? May be it's still in use in addition, but seldom??? Or is it just a dead account (cause password is lost and password recovery does not work)?
