Cam4 notification no longer working

Hi there, since Cam4 new profile interface (May 23) I'm no longer receiving notifications. I don't know if it's just happening with me.

Cam4 has changed something in their system and the site is running very slow.

We have updated our code to reflect their changes, things should be back to normal now.

I have checked the logs and everything looks fine, something strange with the hosting service though, e-mails are not sent.

I'll get back to you with more info.

This is a great site and really helpful but sometimes online cams from cam4 don't show up as online or I just don't get notifcations. Is this coz I've only just signed up to a new account or that they're newly added cams?

Hi there, this service is still experimental.

I'm still finding new functionalists that I have to implement for a better user experience. This will happen step by step and thanks to your feedback, you can put me back on the right track, helping me prioritizing my tasks.

Although I would like this service to be up and running 24/24, there are moments when one or more services are not responding as expected (cam4 website is slow or not responding, webhosting problems - camnotifier can't access external services, I get email sending errors and so on)

All of this problems will be addressed in time.

No, it doesn't matter if you are a new user or not, or if there are newly added cams, you should get notified as the rest of the users of this site. (see the issues above)

Please check MyCams page and make sure no cam has been marked as failed.

Hey guys,

Sorry for this, the fix is a little harder to crack. Meanwhile I have switched to emergency mode, all the cams are checked, but a little slower than normal.

thank you admin for all the hard work.

and totally understand how much cam4 loves to change their things and how much that could affect you! So I guess updating 10 cams would be nothing comparing to what you must do.
