Anonymize the Email notifications?

Hi Camnotifier-Team, i have 2 questions and suggestions: 1) Is there an additional option in the account settings to anonymize the notification email when a cam notification arrives? For example, I don't want the subject to already state that a CAM is online. Maybe you could just write "Update", and then everything else in the email text as before. For example, it would not be immediately apparent on the cell phone that it was a cam notification. 2) Is there an additional possibility in the account settings that the email sender "[email protected]" is anonymized, changed or disguised? My main concern is privacy, should someone look at my cell phone when I'm not there. Greets |

Hi, thank you for taking the time to write these suggestions! Currently there are no options to customize the notification messages or the sender, however we understand the needs for privacy when it comes to mail notifications. We will include these suggestions in the future plan and in the meantime you could reliably use the telegram notifications. Telegram comes with good privacy options, you can lock you application by using a security code, however you cannot hide the bot name. Most probably many users are in the same situation and we will prioritize improving the overall privacy on notification options. Will reply to this thread once options are in place. Thank you! |
